Few days ago (on my birthday to be exact), I officially received a certificate of completion from GIA - Gemological Institute of America. Congratulation to me! Yeay!!
I want to express my joy for taking this course, which taught me fundamental things I need to know about unique quality of precious metals, jewelry types and styles, manufacturing methods, and how they can affect style, appearance, and durability. On February 17, 2015, I completed all of the lessons, questionnaires, and final exam for the course "Jewelry Essentials".
Next future, I might enroll on other jewelry courses to learn new skills, expand abilities, and keep moving forward on my professional journey. All in all, I am now a member of the GIA Alumni Association. :D
P.S. GIA has a page whereby we can learn types of gemstones. Visit GEM ENCYCLOPEDIA!
